TANTRA - A Spiritual Path of Ecstasy

There are a number of different definitions of tantra from various viewpoints.

Rather than a single coherent system, Tantra is an accumulation of practices and ideas which has among its characteristics the use of ritual, the use of the mundane to access the supramundane and the identification of the microcosm (a small, complete world) with the macrocosm(a complex structure containing smaller worlds).

Tantra on the other hand is sexuality as a divine rite and an expression of union or yoga.

At one time, long before so-called civilization permeated our culture, humans cultivated this pleasure to transcend into higher dimensions of consciousness, beyond the material, animal orgasm. Thousands of years ago, people had achieved a high degree of awareness and an alchemical formula for converting what we know as sex energy -- called by many names such as Chi, vital force, soul, etc. -using it to enter into a state of Divinity. Their spiritual philosophy held sexuality as a divine rite and an expression of union or yoga.

Tantra doesn't tell you to control or suppress your sexual urges to reach God, but rather says the opposite. It supports development of this vital energy to achieve union with Divinity. The essence of Tantra is the full expression of being--a merging with, rather than a withdrawing from. It is the ultimate yoga, which is Sanskrit for union. In Tantra, the orgasm is with the universe. You become part of the primal energy of everything. In the Kama Sutra, genital contact is but one of the many kinds of intercourse. Tantrikas learn to make love with everything, letting go of all barriers to pure bliss.

Unfortunately, as our planet moved out of the Taurien Age (4300-1700 BC) and became masculine and aggressive, it also lost this deep spiritual connection to this vital sex energy. While sexuality touches every part of our lives, it's sad that this most pleasurable life-affirming phenomenon --the act of creating our very birth--is today tainted with fear, abuse and general negativity.
NewFrontier

According to Tantric practioner Lama Thubten Yeshe: ...each one of us is a union of all universal energy. Everything that we need in order to be complete is within us right at this very moment. It is simply a matter of being able to recognize it. This is the tantric approach.

Power Of Thought

Thoughts give birth to reality
We are the products of our thoughts
All manifestation originates from thought

Our thought can inhibit our progress

Life Is A Gift

Life Is A Gift Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion. Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren. Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets. Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed.

Barak Obama - The Dream Of A New World

BARAK OBAMA.

The world needs a change
A change from the norm
The norm of a selected few
To know they can do it

You have been chosen.
It is not a race for power
but a race of will, strength
the strength to will, to be

The bring into reality
the dream of the everyday man
that there is hope in dreams,
there is life, light and love

This love exist within all
It must come into reality
A reality etched out by the
very essence of our soul.

Barak Obama, the baton is in your hand
To give hope to the fallen, the hopeless
to those who do not believe in life.
You must look ahead and not to the side.

For at the sides are distraction.
Do not lose that innocence within
For the God of your heart and realisation
gives to you what thou willest.

Watch the content of your heart and belief
Flow with the knowing and realisation
that all that thou willest is thine
For devolution precedes evolution

This is to Barak Obama

100 Promises to My Baby . . .

100 Promises to My Baby -
Mallika Chopra Self Help / Personal Growth

A lyrical ode to maternal love -- and a universal expression of every mother's hopes and dreams for her child

I promise to love you with no conditions. I promise to try to teach you through example, not words. I promise to help you develop a love for your culture and heritage. I promise to show you that there are infinite possibilities in every moment. I promise to help you see and develop your unique talents. As she eagerly awaited the birth of her first child, Mallika Chopra began to craft a unique gift that would express her profound loving commitment to the baby growing inside of her.

100 Promises to My Baby is that gift -- a covenant with her child that reflected her own deepening awareness of the sacred responsibilities of parenthood. Here the author shares the vows she made to help her child grow up feeling cherished and secure, look at the world with wonder and curiosity, and learn spiritual values that would enrich her own life and contribute to making the world a better place. This audio will inspire listeners to think about their own lives, values, and beliefs, and what they would like to pass on to their children.
==============================

4 stars Comments
Excellent audio. If you feel that the baby is not his/her normal self consult your doctor immediately. Either take the baby to the doctor or speak to him over the phone. If you are calling him, write down all the things that you want to ask about. Make a note of all the important phone numbers like your doctor's, health clinic, hospital, a good taxi service and numbers of friends who would be willing to look after older children in an emergency. If you are asked to bring your baby to the hospital at night do so, as it is better to take the baby there than treating him at home.

Chariots Of The Gods

Erich von Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods?": Science or Charlatanism?

Erich von Daniken's "Chariots of the Gods?":
Science or Charlatanism?

by Robert Sheaffer

(First published in the "NICAP UFO Investigator", October/November, 1974.)

(en Espanol aqui)

Was God an ancient astronaut? Do centuries-old legends of gods and heroes tell of space travelers who came to earth from distant parts of the Cosmos? Are some of the ruins of antiquity remnants of great airfields, the favored landing sites of extraterrestrial craft?

"Yes!," writes Erich Von Daniken in his runaway bestselling book, "Chariots of the Gods?" This phenomenally successful book is now in its forty-fourth printing, with over four million copies currently in print. Von Daniken's sequels to this book, "Gods from Outer Space" and "The Gold of The Gods" are also selling well, as are flocks of imitations.

The popularity of such a sensational theory should not be surprising. Immanuel Velikovsky created a similar stir almost twenty-five years ago with the publication of his "Worlds in Collision", suggesting that the present state of the solar system can be explained by a series of spectacular cataclysms among the planets. It has been over twenty-seven years since "flying saucers" burst into the public's awareness, and UFOs still continue to generate excitement and controversy. Sensational hypotheses such as these generate such levels of interest that they tend to become self-sustaining, quite apart from the question of whether they are true.

No Easy Immortality

Book Review

No Easy Immortality by J. H Reyner

This book is a breakthrough in the understanding of
life. Amid the turmoil of events many people have
an innate conviction that existence has a purpose
beyond the pursuit of material success. This indeed
is indicated in both legend and religion but the
practical man or woman finds the idea remote and i
nterprets it as implying that life is merely a preparation
for some future state of enlightenment.

The author who is a scientist of repute, challenges
this view, maintainig=ng that it is based on an
illusion of the senses. There is clear evidence that
the body is only a temporary habitation for a
spiritual soulwhich continues to exis after death,
yet the question remains, "Why is our sojourn on
earth necessary at all?". NO EASY IMMORTALITY
explains that earthly life is infact a seach for a suitable
material to nourish the soul. This 'psychological' material is

not available free of charge but has to be paid for by a

special kind of effort involving, not the negation of life, but
rather a conscious partucipation in its events.

Pursuing this idea it becomes clear that enlightenment
is not restricted to a future state but is attainable -
indeed only attainable - here and now. If the soul is to
fulfil its destiny it has to learn how to utilise to the
full all available experiences. Until this has been done
it cannot claim any true immortality.

In clear simple language the author conveys a wealth
of inspiring ideas which, because they challenge our
habitual interpretation of life, require careful thought
and attention, but this is the price which the Universe
for the surrender of its own secret.

Whispers of The Soul

I Am Who I Am

The material world is too heavy.
I sometimes feel so heavy.
I think I can not, go on.

Whispers of the Soul

The pain is unbearable.
Why do we sojourn
through this world so decay-able.

Whispers of the Soul

The , the ,
seemingly likely natural occurences.
Are these by no means not the work
of a ?

Whispers of the Soul

Just as our mind weaves it's own ?
, joys and woes. I AM!

How do I detach my self from time notions
I feel stronger everyday that everything JUST IS.
My soul wails. Why worry it hissed?
Like the wailing of the frenzied seventh sea.

Whispers of the Soul

You created non of these material things
you control, bend, and take from;

The oceans and seas, earth and greens,
skies and birds, The sun and it's sister the moon.
Everything about nature works so perfectly
by decay, renewal and regeneration.

I am one of natures design, I must be going through
the same process; end result? .

I Am Who I Am ! . . . God's Love!

The Birth Of A Dream (1)

Just sat in front of the system wondering
where to start from, What kind of report I am
expected to give on the tour.

Well I am following my instinct!

Hmm . . . where do I start from? . . .

How do I say thank you for all the wonders
shown to me by God?

As I decided that I shall go no further
looking for Him, my business going beautiful
but my inner man in shambles because I needed
certain questions answered.

Nobody understood me. No where to turn to.
My heart yearns. Oh how it yearns for
understanding, knowledge wisdom. I get
glimpses sometimes but I needed to put
it in one "whole" picture. ..."but how?"

Who, what where is God? How do I become one
with God? It was the birth of an idea that
if I am a part of God then I must be a mini
god.

After that, it was a whole new experience of
correlating my souls yearning to the teachings.

A whole new world.
A new fantastic point of view.
No one to tell me no, where to stop ,
or say that I am only dreaming.

A place where dreams come to life.
And so was the birth of one of my dreams
